The family fun N1SCO races using the Naish ONE 12’6” Inflatable SUP made their way to the inaugural Emirates Palace Beach Festival on March 21, 2014.

Over 50 competitors ranging from young to seasoned, couldn’t wait to sign up for the 200m course at the picturesque Emirates Palace Marina in the UAE. Weather was a steamy 95 degrees Fahrenheit with light onshore winds, but that didn’t stop the smiles from pouring in once the races began!

The atmosphere was nothing short of amazing and supportive as paddlers made their way through the heats with plenty of handshakes and high fives to go around!

Scott Chambers and Rachael Sheriff took the top spot in the Men’s & Women’s events after a tough battle to the buoy and back to the beach while the 2nd and 3rd placed paddlers continued to fight it out stroke for stroke until the last few meters of each race. It was a nail-biter! Guy Welchman also brought in the win for the Junior’s event by pulling away from the start quickly and finishing well ahead of the rest of the crowd. Way to go everyone!
